CRUX Reusable End Closures
The Reusable End Closure is used to close ends of tubulars for buoyancy
purposes.
One or more radially expanding seals are seated within a core element.
Activation of the seals by hydraulic or pneumatic pressure then closes the
annulus between the core element and the tubular.
The system has a number of applications including pile flotation and caisson
closure.
